I started my editorial career on the beauty desks of glossy magazines in 2005 before transitioning to online titles writing about beauty, health and fitness. These are still my areas of expertise with a regular sideline in ethical and sustainable living on my personal blog Brighter Shade of Green.
I'm currently branded content editor at Hearst covering commercial campaigns for Women's Health, Men's Health, Runner's World and NetDoctor, creating content for print, digital, video and social. Prior to that I was digital director at Healthista.com and at beauty retailer BeautyMART.
Through my freelance career, I've contributed to Cosmopolitan.co.uk, Closer, Health & Fitness, InStyle.co.uk, Ecologist, European Spa Magazine, Health & Fitness, Metro, NetDoctor, Psychologies, Spa Secrets, Women's Fitness among many others. During this time I won a Jasmine Award for Best Online Feature and shortlisted for Best Online Journalist in Johnson & Johnson Awards.
